All students should be at Washington Hall ready to play at 6 PM Tuesday.  Returning Band will meet on the stage and Beginning Band will meet in the green room at Washington Hall.

Parents- the doors will not open until 6:30 PM.  It should be a nice evening, so I recommend that you consider taking a walk down to the Grotto or the lake, or visit the LaFortune Student Center next door to fill the time.

Final reminder- Bandlink lessons will be from 5:30-6:30 this Sunday, April 26th.

Our spring concert is quickly approaching!  It will be held on Tuesday, April 28 at 7 pm at Washington Hall on the Notre Dame campus.

Call times for beginning band and returning band will be announced later this week.

Parents- As has become tradition, please bring goodies to share for the post-concert reception.  This has become a great time for students, mentors, and parents to gather and socialize after the concert.

Finally- remember that lessons will be from 5:30-6:30 on Sunday, April 26th due to ND Band concerts that evening.

Lesson times have been adjusted the last 2 weeks to the following:

Sunday, April 19 – 7:00-8:00 PM

Sunday, April 26 – 5:30-6:30 PM

These time changes are due to the large number of mentors participating in 2 concerts on the ND Campus.  You are invited to attend to see your mentors perform!  April 19th’s concert will feature the Symphonic Winds and Symphonic Band at 5 PM.  April 26th’s concert will feature the Brass Ensemble and University Band at 3 PM, and Chamber Ensembles at 7 PM.  All events are free, but ticketed, and will be held in Leighton Concert Hall at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center.  Hope to see many of you there!

There are no Bandlink activities this week, April 5-13.  Enjoy spring break and have a Happy Easter!

Solo and Ensemble is here!

Make sure that you arrive at least 10 minutes before your assigned time to check in and warm up.

For those of you that have never visited the Ricci Band Rehearsal Hall (aka. the Notre Dame Band Building), it is located just east of the Jordan Hall of Science, and just to the north of the Joyce Center and Rolfs Athletic Complex.  There is plenty of parking available in the parking lots to the east of the Hesburgh Library.

Good luck to all participants today!

Solo and Ensemble is this Saturday, March 28 at the Ricci Band Rehearsal Hall on the Notre Dame campus.

Students have been assigned a 10-minute time slot between 10 AM and 1:30 PM.  More information will be handed out in full band rehearsals this week.

If you are able, please bring a copy of your solo or ensemble music for the judge.

Due to early dismissal, beginning band will not meet this Wednesday, March 18th.

Just a reminder that there will be no Bandlink lessons or full band the week of March 8-15 due to Notre Dame spring break.

We will resume on Monday, March 16th.

Due to inclement weather and road conditions, there will be no Bandlink lessons tonight, February 22.

Returning band will meet as scheduled tomorrow, Monday 2/23.

This Saturday, February 21 is the ND Band’s annual Junior Parents Weekend Concert.  The theme is ‘Around the World with the ND Band’ and will feature the Jazz Band, Symphonic Band, Symphonic Winds, New Orleans Brass Band, and Trombone Choir.  The concert will last from 2-3:30 pm (approx.) and will be held in Leighton Concert Hall at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center.
